Our Yard Shipping and Returns Policy

Sellers can choose whether an item is available for:

A Seller must have a ship-from address on file before Delivery is available on their listings.

When a Buyer checks out with Delivery, Our Yard generates a prepaid shipping label using the carrier rate for that package, plus a small handling fee. The Seller is not responsible for shipping costs on orders placed with Delivery.

Sellers are expected to:

Delivery timelines depend on the carrier and service level selected at checkout. Our Yard does not guarantee specific delivery dates, though estimated timelines may be shown when available.

If a package is lost, significantly delayed, or arrives damaged, Buyers should report the issue through Our Yard as soon as possible. These situations are evaluated under Our Yard's Buyer Protection Policy, which explains what may be eligible for a refund and how claims are investigated.

Because Our Yard is a peer-to-peer marketplace, whether a Seller accepts voluntary returns (a Buyer simply changing their mind) is up to that Seller — check with them directly before purchasing if this matters to you.

Separately from voluntary returns, Our Yard may still issue a refund or other resolution when an item never arrives, is materially different from its description, or otherwise qualifies under our Buyer Protection Policy.

Items exchanged in person are not shipped and are not covered by this policy. Buyers should inspect items at the time of meetup, since Buyer Protection's shipping-related coverage does not apply to in-person exchanges.
